Near the shrine was a little beach, with children playing.
Exploring further around the island:
The tide was going out behind the shrine.
Just as I was setting up this idyllic pastoral scene with the deer, the bridges and the cherry blossom petals drifting into the clear running stream, a bright red little Coca Cola van drove across the bridge.
Not the effect I was looking for.

Well, now we’ve seen it.

Back to that bridge again, with cherry blossom on the grass
