Bab Touma is one of the seven gates of Old Damascus, on the north eastern side, which we reached after twisting and turning through the maze of narrow streets.

Chapel of St Ananias is a small underground church maintained by the Franciscan friars. It is considered to be the house of St Ananias, the first bishop of Damascus, who healed St Paul of his blindness, and then baptised him.

Pat at the Roman Arch, Bab Sharqi Street, close to the centre of Old Damascus. You can see how hungry he looks, so we decided to go and have lunch at a nearby restaurant.
