Zoe, Mummy and Gran stayed in a “boutique” Bed and Breakfast called Lapa No 82, in the very old and beautiful area of Lisbon called Lapa. Here is the courtyard where breakfast is served.
Here is another side of the courtyard. Mummy and Gran felt very European eating cherries and hot fluffy croissants in this sunny courtyard.
Zoe didn’t feel much different.
Crepes with strawberry jam, hot croissants and cafe au lait for Mummy and Gran. Zoe had milk.
Gran’s room. On each side of the bed is a hessian screen, behind which is a stencil shaped like a lamp. When the light on the wall behind the screen is turned on, it looks like a lamp. Very tricky! The room is a bit below ground level, so out the window you can see the legs of people walking past. The street and footpath outside are very narrow, so when a bus goes past, it blocks out all the light.

The orange toy and the rattle are presents for Zoe from Emirates for being so good.
