Osaka: Safely arrived at KIX

Sunday 30th – Monday 31st March 2014.

Osaka’s Kansai International Airport is identified by the letters KIX, and they make a big thing of it. 

Our flight, arrival and check in to our hotel all went very smoothly.  KIX and the Nikko Kansai Airport Hotel are on an artificial island about 70km from Osaka, so we stayed at the hotel for our first night.

Breakfast next morning.  (Yes, we did do other things besides eat).  As the hotel was the most luxurious (and expensive) of the whole trip, we checked it out:
