Nut lover’s paradise.
We hopped off our “Big Bus” in the spice and gold souks. At this shop we bought some fat, juicy dates.
Allspice?
We didn’t buy anything in the gold souks.
So as to look at the gold and spice souks, we decided to get off our “Big Bus” there, and walk around to the spot where we would pick up our dhow cruise on Dubai Creek, instead of taking the bus. However, what looked like a gentle 15 minute stroll on our tourist map turned out to be more like 45 minutes of hard walking. We arrived just in time to depart, with the other bus passengers looking cool and relaxed, while we were seriously hot and bothered. At least we had some exercise for the day.
