Church at Doha, 8.05.2010.

The new Catholic church at Doha is apparently the largest Christian church in the Gulf.  Dan goes to church on either Friday or Saturday, his days off, as Sunday is a working day here in Qatar.  The English language Mass on Saturday is at 5.45am (!) so off we went.

8th May was Pat's father's birthday, so we thought of him especially today.

The "small" rear chapel of the Catholic church at Doha, where the 5.45am English language Mass for the day was celebrated.  The congregation was composed mainly of Filipino and Indian men.  The unaccompanied singing was great!

Inside the main building of the Catholic church at Doha.  There are numerous Masses all day on Fridays and Saturdays, and for many of the Masses, this huge building is packed.
