After Matt and Julia's wedding, Julia's parents, Barbara and Bernhard, were not able to return to Germany on their booked flight, because of the volcano in Iceland. This was fine by Pat and me, as we were able to spend some time with them, and get to know them better. Here is Pat with Barbara and Bernhard at Brighton, after we had ridden our bikes there from Boondall. It was a perfect day - the tide was in, and the water was calm and sparkling.
