Another beautifully-named town.
The road between Moree and Coonabarabran was lined with carpets of yellow and purple flowers, interspersed with sprinkles of white flowers and occasional splashes of vivid orange bushes. These were followed by lush green crops, then blue hills against the clear blue sky.
In the park beside the river in Coonabararan there was to be no consumption of spirituous liquor.
There were also some geese (I think?) and goslings, presumably not under the influence of spirituous liquor.
The main street was lined with some rather lovely white flowering trees.
Rather lovely white flowering tree.
Kookaburra Music, eat your heart out.
One of the pubs in Coonabarabran was home to some football club.
